Determine Your Topdressing Volume Need
with or without core aerification

Step 1
What is the total square foot area to be topdressed? Record that number in the box to the right (ex. 11000 square feet).
Do not use commas! 		sq.ft.
Step 2
What is your desired depth of topdressing in INCHES. Use decimal equivalent - Do not use fractions ( / sign) in the box!
Example:
1/2" = 0.5 in.
7/16" = 0.438 in.
3/8" = 0.375 in.
5/16" = 0.313 in.
1/4" = 0.25 in.
3/16" = 0.188 in.
1/8" = 0.125 in.
1/16" = 0.063 in.
1/32" = 0.031 in.

Step 3
What is the diameter in INCHES of your aerification tines? Use decimal equivalent - Do not use fractions ( / sign) in the box!
If you are not aerifying in conjunction with topdressing - simply leave box blank and the calculation will be done without aerification.
Example:
1/2" tines = 0.5 in.
3/8" tines = 0.375 in.
1/4" tines = 0.25 in.
3/16" tines = 0.188 in.

Step 4
What is the average depth in INCHES that your aerification tines penetrate into the soil? Use decimal equivalent - Do not use fractions ( / sign) in the box!
If you are not aerifying in conjunction with topdressing - simply leave box blank. 		in.
Step 5
How many cores per square foot are you creating with your aerifyer?
If you are not aerifying in conjunction with topdressing - simply leave box blank. 		/sq.ft.

You need cubic feet (ft3) or cubic yards (yd3) of topdressing material to topdress the surface area without aerification.

You need cubic feet (ft3) or cubic yards (yd3) of topdressing material to fill the aerification holes only without any additional topdressing on the surface.

You need cubic feet (ft3) or cubic yards (yd3) of topdressing material total for topdressing the surface and filling the aerification holes at the same time.
