Irrigation Calculations
The irrigation calculations we will do here are basic and do not involve irrigation system design. We will be estimating water usage for turf areas based on grass requirements, and estimating these water costs as part of a turf maintenance budget.Lets start with a little lesson on the idea of the acre-foot and acre inch of water before we get right into irrigation calculations.

The other piece of information you'll need to know is the cost of water and this is usually charged on a per cubic foot basis.
